This page outlines the process for requesting the deletion of your account and associated data from the Pujo Go mobile application, in compliance with Google Play Store policies. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have control over your personal information.
How to Request Account Deletion
To permanently delete your Pujo Go account and associated data, please follow these steps:
- Compose an email from the email address registered with your Pujo Go account.
- Send the email to: support@pujogo.in
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- In the body of the email, please include your Pujo Go username to help us verify your identity and locate your account.
Once we receive your request, our team will process it and confirm the deletion via email within 15 business days.
What Data is Deleted?
Upon the successful processing of your deletion request, the following data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our production servers:
- ✓ Personal Profile Information: Your Name, userid, registered email address, and profile picture.
- ✓ Activity & Game Data: Your entire check-in history at pandals, earned Aura Points, leaderboard rankings, and all unlocked badges or achievements.
What Data is Retained or Anonymized?
To maintain the integrity and functionality of the community features for other users, some data you created will be retained but fully anonymized. This means it will be completely disconnected from your identity.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): Any Community Routes you created, along with their ratings and comments, will be preserved. However, all personal attribution will be removed and reassigned to an "Anonymous User" profile. This ensures that valuable community routes remain accessible to everyone without compromising your privacy.
- Analytics Data: We may retain aggregated, non-personally identifiable analytical data for statistical purposes to understand user trends and improve the app. This data cannot be traced back to any individual user.
Data Retention Period
After your account data is deleted from our live systems, it may persist in our secure, encrypted backup systems for an additional period of up to 30 days. This is a standard security practice to ensure disaster recovery. After this period, the data is permanently purged from all backups.
